Best Gifts for Hosts During the Holiday Season

The holiday season is here and it is the time to shine by bringing the best host/hostess gifts for all of your holiday get-togethers. Yes, you can still bring wine and I encourage that. But if you are looking for a few options to shake things up a bit and be unique, or if you happen to know that your host is a teetotaler, keep reading!

One of the greatest gifts that my husband K.C. has given me, aside from his conditional love, was introducing me to See’s Candies. Since we don’t have a brick-and-mortar location where we are, we depend on the pop-up shops near us for holiday gifts. We picked up a few just today and will be back again in December for round two. Why? See’s candies are made from scratch and are meant to be consumed within 3-4 weeks after purchasing. The best part is that you’re giving a high quality gift made from old family recipes and humanely sourced ingredients. You can visit a storefront or their site to stock up on some goodies. I recommend the chocolate leaves for a safe dip into the brand, their famous peanut brittle, or their seasonal pumpkin spice lollypops

We grabbed a can of these on a whim a few years ago and it is a staple easy gift for us to send off to family out of state. And yes, K.C., you will get a can in your stocking. We love Hub’s because they come from a family farm in VA and they make something so simple a decadent and special treat. They offer a bunch of flavors, but I am partial to the chocolate covered ones. You can purchase from Hub’s directly or our favorite source, Sid Mashburn-who we love. He sells them under the “home & gift” section of his site and it gives us another chance to show an Atlanta based business some love too in the buying process.

And speaking of Sid Mashburn, he lead us to these biscottis too. I have made my way though a few bags and will for sure snag a few bags soon to have them ready as gifts. They are made in Italy with high quality ingredients and without preservatives. And the best part, they are little baby biscottis, which means you can have a ton with your coffee.

If you are looking for a non-food hostess gift, look no further. I will speak highly of Beekman 1802 soaps for forever because they are just THAT good. Since they are made of goatmilk, they moisturize your skin unlike any other BAR soap you’ve ever used. No tight skin feeling here! I found a set on QVC that is a great deal at just over $10 a gift. This set includes 6 full size bars and 6 of the cutest gift bags. They are saving you a step by giving you a bag! Genius. We use these bar soaps ourselves too and each one gives us about 3-ish months worth of use. I can’t think of a better way to say “thank you” than a gift of soft and nourished skin, especially in the cooler months.

Gift Card For Breakfast The Next Morning

After a long night of hosting, the last thing I would want to do is think about what to do for breakfast in the morning. But if one of my amazing guests gave me a giftcard to my favorite breakfast place, say less-my plans are set! If you’re having trouble coming up with the perfect host/hostess gift there is no shame in a gift card. As long as there is intention and thought behind it, your amazing gesture will be treasured. I would lean on picking a spot that you know they love or nudge them to a local spot that you’ve had up your sleeve for them to try.

More gift guides are coming so stay tuned! Let me know your favorite go-to gifts to bring to a party, I’d love to hear!

Cheers!
